My Top Pick: Best Chemical Engineering YouTube Channels

One of the things I remember when I was in college was: “WHY are there no Chemical Engineering Channels?”

I hated it… Specially because there were some channels related to Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, lots of robotics, lots of Chemistry… but NO Chemical Engineering…

It is now 2019 and stil we have so little content on Chemical Engineering, it’s so sad! Hopefully we get more content creators in the platform soon 🙂

Anyways, so far I have found the following channels, they might be of interest to you, specially if you are studying…

Learn Cheme

by far one of the best chemical engineering channels in YouTube; backed up by Chemical engineers & Professors from University of Colorado Boulder. It has topics of most of the subjects and lots of theory videos and practice videos. It is also arranged in a beautiful website with each topic typically used in engineering.

NPTEL - Chemical Engineering

My favorite content channel for chemical engineering and other process engineering topics. It has A LOT of written, audio and video content. Topics go from very generic such as “material balances” to specific topics like “furnace design”. give it a try!

Engineered Truth

One of the First “Engineering Vlogs” I found in YouTube. It talks about a range of engineering related topics and entrepreneurship. Totally recommended for students and recent grads.

Major Prep

As the name implies, this is preparation for a Major, so if you are wondering about studying an engineer. Personally, it also talk

Advanced Process Separations

If you are struggling in Process Separations Technology or Mass Transfer Operations, THIS IS THE CHANNEL FOR YOU!

Chemical Engineering Resources

This channel is no longer “active” but you can try it out. It covers some topics of Chemical Engineering and it ranges from Process Simulation, Reactor Engineering and so on.

Those are my favorites, or at least the best I’ve found. Are your favorite YouTube Channels here as well?  Did I miss any other interesting channel related to ChemE?
